good location, great service and many options on the menu. Cozy setting with the right of 'noise'. Think of it as a beer stube with good food. Very accommodating fro our party of 6. Good service, good atmosphere.

We followed TA advice and found this for a late lunch. Just had a nice shared meat and cheese platter and beer. Took a while for meal to come, but was excellent value for money.

I was already planning to eat at this restaurant and what sealed the deal was the restaurant serves dinner (and food) most of the time. As we had just arrived from Asia that day, we were tired and didnt want to wait for 8 pm...More

On our second visit to Bolzano in five years, we revisited this old friend. The interior is not overstated Tyrol, but a very pleasant presence in northern Italy. The draw for me is always the draft Paulaner beer, but there is so much more. The...More

Arrived quite late after a long day of travelling. The waiter was very attentive and I had a beautiful vegetarian selection of grilled vegetables and cheese, followed by coffee.

We went there for lunch and we had the knodels (traditional food) and the chicken with porchini. Both were delicious. It also has a big variety of beers (draft and bottle). Nice atmosphere inside and outside. Good choice!

Varied menu, good food, very reasonable prices, just 1 Euro coperta and very friendly waiting staff. Always busy so that's enough to show how worth it is!

The “Paulaner Stuben” are inaugurated in September 2005, becoming the first restaurant south of the Brenner with the brand of the prestigious munich brewery “Paulaner”. The restaurant is housed in one of the oldest buildings of the city, the residence “Troilo – Troyburg” dating from the thirteen century, and is able to reach both the shopping archades ”Portici – Lauben” and the street “Silbergasse – Via Argentieri”. The three spacious dining rooms ( “Stuben”) are characterized by beautiful vaulted ceilings and friendly wood furniture can accommodate up to 150 people. In the warm season is set up outside a terrace for about seventy guests with tables and chairs reminiscent of the splendid traditional beer gardens in Munich. The choice of menu is much wider. It ranges in fact from the “classics Paulaner”, brewery typical local dishes such as dumplings, shank and grilled meat served in copper pans, till to the base plates of Mediterranean cuisine such as pasta, vegetables, fish and of course delicious pizzas baked in two variants , the classic round pizza and pizza by the meter served on elegant wooden cutting boards ( “Pizza on board”).The culinary concept behind our “BEERHALL” is in fact the daily search of harmony between the style and tradition of the Bavarian restaurants and the quality of the italian cuisine.
