Delightful centrally located gelateria. The pistachio and fondente are particularly good. Service is always delightful and enthusiastic. It closes early 6.30pm on weekdays and 6 pm on Sat and is closed all Sunday so time your visit carefully to avoid disappointment.

I have to say this is the best gelato i have tried until today. The flavours, the taste beat any of gelato shops out there. If you visit Bolzano, you must try this !

If you are looking for a tasty gelato while visiting Bolzano historic center, then I would recommend Gelateria Artigianale by Nicolas. They have exquisite gelato although it is in a tourist location. Tried chocolate and cherry, because they ran out of lemon and pistachio. That place is busy. Make sure you have cash though, they do not accept credit card.

Italy is supposed to be the country of ice cream. This place is clearly not representing the country. Ice cream is poor quality, not homemade at all ! we didn’t finish what we bought

Excellent artisan ice cream. Brisk service at this value for money ice cream shop where 1.20 Euro buys you a a big serving of wonderful flavours - the Yoghurt and passion fruit one of the best ever. The flavours are varied with seasonal favourites and staple fixtures and to be honest one flavour is not enough.......

We came for some traditional ice creams in the heart of Bozen. A long queue of people but worth waiting. All different sorts of ice cream which we tasted were more than delicious! If you’re looking for the best ice cream in town, then this is the place to go! Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a "Thumbs up Thank FrankGeisler" by clicking the button below

We visited the place moreless by an accident walking around Bolzano ´s streets. The place really overcrowded, the we recognised the reason... the staff pleasant and simply one of the best ice creams we have ever had.

Do not mind standing in the queue in order to get your portion of ice cream. It is worth waiting. I like most vanilla and strawberry

Best Gelato on our trip and we had visited a fair few in the past two weeks. 2.30 euro for a double cone. Location on piazza delle erbe just after the street market stalls. Coffee gelato with crunchy coffee beans, basil and ginger Gelato tasted of ginger snaps. Smooth creamy texture. Will be visiting on a daily basis.

We were recommended this place by a local guide as the best place for ice cream. We tried several flavours in our cornets and were not disappointed. Prices are reasonable. The shop is small and busy, and service is fast and efficient once the person at the front of the queue has made up their mind what they want!

When I stopped by here this afternoon, the place was so crowded I could only see half of the flavors. If they had basil or anything else interesting, I didn't notice it. I got gianduia (a very typical Italian combo of chocolate and hazelnut) and panna cotta ("cooked cream"). Panna cotta, the custard, not the gelato, is a dessert I often order in restaurants. Both these flavors were delicious.

Small place in Bolzano. You will recognize it by the queue. One of the best ice cream we ever had! We were on our way from the Dolomites back to south Garda lake with our kids and stopped for an hour in Bolzano. It was so good, that each one of us took another one...

I am ice cream addicted. I try ice cream all over the world. This place is in my personal top 5 world wide. (by the way I drive 30km almost every day to get that ice cream during my vacation) My fav ice cream so far, "ginger basil", "yogurt passion fruit"... boom, second place in the world where I got that kind of passion fruit ice cream and could taste, feel and hear the cracking of the small passion fruit seeds very delicious also almond and pistachio As long as I am here, will go for it

Some 'interesting' flavours (basil and ginger) as well as established favourites, all clearly home-made. Best gealto we found in Bolzano.
