We were lucky to get a table without reservation and the people were very friendly. The spaghetti carbonara was amazing and the pasta amatriciana was tasty too. Good portions, so unfortunately there was no space for dessert. Recommended if you don’t mind sitting on a...side street to enjoy good food that makes you feel like you are at your grandparents place.More

This year, we had dinner 3 times and we loved all pasta dishes we ate. Staff is super friendly. They have the best lasagna.

A local and friendly family run spot serving top notch home cooking. Seafood marinara was just perfect , el dente, with a delicious tomato sauce bursting with a variety of seafood/shellfish that screamed home cooking. Make a reservation as they turn away dozens every meal...due to availability. This isn't a fancy place, far from it, but the food is what's it's all about and everyone who comes here knows it.More

No surprise that this lovely family run restaurant is so popular. Be prepared to book in advance - the only restaurant in Merano that we had to.The pasta is excellent and there is a great selection of deserts and wines to accompany your meal.

I hesitated as to whether to write a review... such a special place and don’t know if they need the crowds. We arrived at 700.... no réservation.. but they found us a table and they were so welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious, waitress was...charming, and and an on the house limoncello at the end. As we left I told the owner how great it was and got a bunch of kisses goodbye... made me feel Italian.....wow..who gets that? So genuine and special! We just loved whole “local experience “ in a tourist town.More

Location: outside the hustle and bustle of the Via dei Portici. Handwritten daily menu, really yummy homemade-like food, super friendly staff, moderate prices. And the coffee - an Italian dream, small and full of flavor! Loved to see the whole restaurant staff sit together for...lunch! Absolutely recommendable!More

We ordered different types of local dishes. The service was fast and pleasant. I ordered pasta and this was very delicious and as desert I ordered Apfelstrudel. The local red house wine is tasty and a very good value for money. Try it by yourself.

We visit this restaurant several times when we visit the wonderful town of Merano. It serves freshly prepared homestyle Italian dishes that are delicious and great value for money. You are always given a warm welcome and it is a pleasure to eat there. The...pasta dishes are always great and delicious desserts too. Recommend booking at the busy times.More

Had an excellent meal here recently. Simple tirolean food at a fair price. Staff are brilliant, knowledgeable and efficient, attentive but not intrusive. Gets very busy so book if interested. Thoroughly recommend

Hello In the menu there is notting about gluten free - it is a very traditional Italian place. But the owner is very nice and offered to cook outside the menu - so perhaps you can work it out with her. Be prepared for a... More
