This is gastronomique but not good. Service is slow. The mixture of food is not really that original and it even became unpalatable, too rich, too heavy sauces. The pasta vastly OVERCOOKED. The chef is amiable, but his wife has her eye on the cash register, and serves the smallest glass of wine imaginable, also not consistent in the amounts.... More

We have had dinner in Aosta for almost a week. Giuliani is not better than all other dinners we had, but 3 fold more expensive. The main dish, sous-vide veal, was very nice and the pasta dish, with mushrooms & walnut was also very good. The starter, local cheese and cold cut meat, and also some of the wines were... More

I will begin by saying I think this was an expensive restaurant but that said it was a great experience. Staff were accommodating and the chef / owner a presence personally assisting at the point of ordering and recommending foods and drinks or responding to enquiries. Bubbly personality and obviously making a statement about his intent as a chef. We... More

The food was very good however the service was very slow! We had to wait a very long time for the main course to come, we didn't order a starter and were reluctant to order sweet but this came quite quickly as it was obviously pre-prepared. The wine was also quite expensive for local wine.

I'm ashamed at the poor standard of my Italian, so a greeting by the owner apologising for her poor English immediately put us at ease. The chef/proprietor then proceeded to tempt us with highlights from his very personal menu, the choice was dazzling. We whittled it down to an excellent homemade taglietelle with lemon, mint and lobster, followed by veal... More

Food was delightful. Really interesting. And service is very friendly. As my 10 year old son said, all together, it was a hair raising experience because the choice of food was good an example was veal that was 30h cooked. I recommend this for anybody in this region.

Lots of efforts around Italian dishes with a modern touch. Even the bread, oil, vinegar and different varieties of salt are surprising. Original antipasti. Tasty primi. Try the gnocchi for example.

This was the perfect dining experience. Wonderful food, wine, and atmosphere. Our hosts, a husband wife and daughter team, provided a delightful experience. The salmon was the best in memory. The risotto...perfect. My wife's pulpo and mussels were exceptional. We especially enjoyed the sommelier (the wife). Her presentation of our wine choices was done with care to present each wine... In its really cosy atmosfear, you can enjoy some creative and delicious food. The difficulty is in the choice! Qualitative ingredients cooked by a great chef, the decor is really nice. A restaurant where we always go in Aoste! Do not forget to book (also possible via Facebook)...

We were just wondering around the historical city center of Aosta when we found this restaurant, a little gem partially hidden from the main street. We were friendly welcomed by the owner and his wife and in spite of the fact we were a bit early respect to the lunch time, they gave us to seat and started presenting the... More
