There is not much to say! The staff of the refugio is very nice. They even can remember your name when you return 2 days after your last stay. The food is great and at a favourable price. We can definitely recommend the refugio and will stop by as soon as possible.

I'll start by saying the food inside the cabin does actually look pretty decent and this 1* rating is purely the fact that we couldn't sit at our reserved table due to an awful smell of sewage that was far too bad to bare! It honestly smelt like an open sewer and there was absolutely no way I was going... More

My husband and I went to the sit-down part of the restaurant for lunch after we had spent the morning skiing. The staff was very friendly. We each had a good meal (polenta was very good!) and were so full after. There is a 4eur per person "service fee" but otherwise decent prices. I'd go back!

Great lunch here after spending the morning skiing, views are spectacular. Two adults and two kids, cost around 75 euros. Kids had bolognaise and carbonara, we had platter of meats, carpaccio etc. Chestnuts picked in honey were gorgeous. Got there around 1 and was quiet, 15 minutes later people were queuing for tables so get there early. Would recommend as... More

Be prepared for a lack of running water (there's a trickle in the upstairs toilet to brush your teeth), but the service is friendly and the food tasty & plentiful (we had 1/2 board: dinner & breakfast). The dorms were cosy, but we left our bags outside in the hall due to lack of room.

We came to the Rifugio Guide del Cervino with a group of 10 and first went for one meter of Parma ham. We had a couple of magnum bottles of Barolo which was excellent value. Try the polenta dishes in various styles - they are all delicious! it is just a fantastic place for a simple but very good meal.... More

Unbelievably good restaurant serving authentic north Italian dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Try the polenta (with mushrooms or just Cheese). The tagliata is just to die for. Very friendly service. Fantastic wine list with the best Italian wines at affordable prices. Stunning terrasse, particularly when sporting has come. Beware of the altitude though as some guests might feel uncomfortable at... More

The view from this location is amazing. You can view down into Italy - Cervinia, and also down the glacier towards Zermatt. You really feel the height - and on a sunny day it's very picturesque.
