In our restaurant you will be sure to find the pleasures of good, healthy and typical Venetian food at its best. Our long-standing culinary tradition, the great experience of our chefs and the high quality of the products used are the cornerstones that have long made us one of the best restaurants in town, popular for business lunches, for friendly and informal evenings with friends or for celebrating the most important occasions with loved ones. An example of our dishes? Paduan pasta and beans, "bigoli" with three sauces, mushroom soup, trolley of boiled and roast meats, Venetian cod and tripe alla parmigiana. A select wine list and friendly and attentive service combined with an elegant (but informal) setting that turns into a charming garden in summer help make the most of your encounter with taste. The restaurant is not for the exclusive use of the hotel, so we recommend that you make a reservation.
It is hard to get a bad meal in Italy, but we had four bad meals here. Flavorless, lacked seasoning. The food was visually appealing, but no taste. So sad because it’s a beautiful location and good staff - our waiter was very attentive. We...More
if you want local, traditional food from the Padua region, this restaurant offers you superb choice, quality and service. Whether you go for the baccala' local style, or the mushrooms, or the truffles, or any risotto, or any meat, or even something as simple as...More
We had a large family birthday celebration at this stylish restaurant and every course was superb. The antipasti and aperitifs were served outside with a variety of canapes based on meat, fish and vegetable recipes. The chilled soup and risotto were exquisitely subtle and the...More
We ate at Il Dotto one night during a 3 day stay in Padova. The restaurant is only 25m. from the door of the Sagittario hotel & allows meals to be charged to the hotel room. If you're staying at the Sagittario, nothing could be...More
I have been several times to this place and every time the quality of the food and the service is simply wonderful! The gnocchi with 3 different sauces is an absolute must! Today we also ate a fondue with white truffles as a starter, it...More
Despite previous comments on Trip Advisor, we English were served promptly and the waiters were efficient if ever-so-slightly condescending. A clean and shiny restaurant, apparently family run for over 150 years, it does have an old-fashioned feel to it. We ate pumpkin flowers stuffed with...More
The dining rooms are confortable enough and service is friendly.
Food selection is quite limited and the preparation provides just little satisfaction.
Only in winter, when the boiled meet selection is on the car (carello bollito), a traditional speciality of Padova could be mentioned.
I loved the food but felt probably we would have received a better service if we were Italian. The waiter wasn't particularly welcoming or helpful. In fact service was slow and could improve. Haven't said that food was fantastic: ravioli was exceptionally good... in fact...More
I have eaten here for the past 10 or more years. I have never ever been disappointed. The food is quite simply out of this world. The service is maybe a little bit Trattoria but I
am always made to feel welcome as if I...More
