Went with my wife and just happens across this place after going to the square around the corner. Had some nice meat balls and the veg cicchetti were actually very impressive and simple. Not fancy but tasty and filling!

We were very lucky to stumble across this fantastic hole in the wall local eatery in which to wolf down a few cicheti with a glass of wine mid travels. There is nowhere to sit apart from outside which even in November...was still happening! It's more a place to eat and go, stand near the bar, munch cicheti, take in... More

Not sure what to expect, but it was very busy and crowded. Food looked good and the sandwich I had was tasty. Plus reasonably priced.

It took some perseverance to locate but worth the effort. The food fantastic, wine selection terrific. Cozy up to the counter, select your cicchetti, and find a little space to enjoy yourself. Beautiful use of fresh offerings from the sea, and a real value too. Mostly local crowd, inviting atmosphere. Best find in Venice.

Popped in here for a quick lunch today whilst exploring the area nearby. Good selection of tasty tapas style food and wines by the glass. It's a small place but as long as you don't mind standing and eating you can still be served. The food was really tasty.

We had a great experience at All'Arco on a Friday evening. At 7pm it wasn't too crowded and they were starting to close up shop, but the guys working there were super friendly and accommodating. They made some special vegetarian tapas for my sister and I and opened a couple of bottles of wine for us to try. Some of... More

Unique and yummy cicchetti and great wine! All'Arco is a must on your cicchetti crawl and conveniently located near other cicchetti places.

Great place for some good cicchetti with a glass of wine and a Spritz and you have a winner. We were fortunate to get a place to sit inside so we enjoyed ourselves.

We first learned about All'Arco from a Rick.Stein TV programme aired in 2014 . One of our activities whilst we had a great week in Venice recently was to join a foodie walkabout that was hosted by Walks of Italy , and one of the venues to visit was All'Arco , so a group of a dozen foreigners was brought... All Arco is amongst my favourite *must visits* when I go to Venice and, as others have said previously, the cicchetti and drinks are great. What I especially like also is that the owner couple (and now their son) are really welcoming and not resting on their laurels (and don't make you feel bad if you struggle beyond more than... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
