We stopped here our first night because it was close to our hotel and recommended to us - so delicious! We had the sea bass carpaccio, seafood soup, squid ink pasta and mixed grilled fish. All amazing, affordable wine list, friendly staff. More locals than...More

we arrived late for lunch, hot and a bit grumpy. Our son is massively fussy as an eater just to add to the joy. Nothing was a problem, don't do pasta young man, we'll do you a steak. Excellent spaghetti with clams, with crab, with...More

I love the restaurant because it is simple, very good food and wines. Good attendance! Or what you expect from a good restaurant! 😘

The first night, we were looking for a restaurant in our VRBO neighborhood, and hoping that it might have great food (especially seafood) in a nice atmosphere. We chose Da Ignazio because it was the closest, open restaurant. WOW. We were SO lucky! Our waiter,...More

We stopped in for lunch while strolling through Venice. No tourists, only locals were eating here, which is always a good sign in Venice. Excellent, fresh food and ingredients, lots of seafood. It's out of the way, so it's quiet.

We ate at this lovely restaurant a couple of times during our visit to Venice. The staff was friendly, although service was slow. Our meals were delicious. Nothing beats having a wonderful meal sitting out on the terrace on a lovely evening.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel. It is a traditional Italian trattoria with a friendly welcome by the host. There is seating inside or in a private courtyard at the rear - lovely for warm evenings. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu...More

While walking back to our hotel my mom and I found this restaurant and I have to say everything was great! From the service to our food to the vino della casa!

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six

markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
