Avoid this place at all costs. 5 star price for a 1 star meal. We were promised the best meal on Venice and got the worst for a very high price. Once the waiters had us seated and the meal ordered they took our table...More

Aggressive restaurant hawking by waiters. Service mediocre, food just okay compared to other stellar restaurants. Waiters not engaged with an in and out attitude. So many fine restaurants to choose from, this one should not be on your list.

It had been five years since our last visit and this trattoria was as good as we had remembered it. Friendly service, good food, comfortable surroundings and a reasonable price. What more can you ask for - we loved that locals were eating here too!...More

Went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, because of the location, which was on one of the canals. What a severe disappointment!!. Shown to our table by a less than enthusiastic waiter, should have warned us. Very slow in taking our order for drinks...More

Poor quality (plastic table and chairs for people who only want to drink something. Large beer and a small coke 22€ (Beer 14€, coke 5€, service 3€) Normally they only charge service if you want to eat something? Was asking for the bill, only 22€...More

This was one of the best meals we had in Italy. First of all, it didn't seem too touristy. Service was great. We started with the lobster salad (to die for) and also the large scallops. I had spaghetti with seafood which was loaded with...More

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

You should ask the people working at the trattoria. Not the reviewer. 😊
