we were looking for somewhere to have quick lunch and this proved just the thing, nice tasty pizza, good pasta and although we didn't eat from the selection of deserts they looked lovely. We would certainly go back here, it wasn't expensive for Venice.

A reasonably priced and friendly restaurant on the edge of a piazza a short walk from San Marco, with tasty if understated pizzas and some frankly outstanding profiteroles. Possibly all profiteroles in Italy taste like this, before now I've only sampled the frozen delights of...More

I've recently had lunch here twice and it stood up well to the local competition. First, the service was attentive without being oppressive. Second, I'm coeliac and therefore have some quite awkward dietary requirements but their gluten-free pizza turns out to be one of the...More

Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over
one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals
criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
