I had been recommended this restaurant by a friend and it was so good we ate here all four evenings of our stay, and did not venture anywhere else. The first nights meal was fish for my wife – this was boned by the table...More

We went based on the TA reviews. We thought it might be too much of a tourist trap after seeing a greeter outside and food pictures on the posters but we decided to go in and were pleasantly surprised. There seemed to be a lot...More

Revisited this restaurant on 2 nights on our second trip to Venice (first approx. 12 months ago). The first evening was excellent but we were served lasagne which wasn't hot enough on the second night. Also, staff should be trained to only clear plates at...More

Very reasonably priced for good food and drink. But it's the amazing location and view that make this restaurant so special and a must. We found it on our last day - I wish we had stumbled across it earlier as we would have returned

Discovered this amazing restaurant quite by chance. After walking through the indoor seating area, came the surprise of a beautiful terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. We were lucky enough to get a seat by the water which added to the dining experience. Service was friendly...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Yes, they take reservations. Depending upon the time of the evening, you may or may not need them. I suggest asking your hotel to call and make reservations for you. It works better that way
