We stopped in for a light meal. We started with a pepperoni pizza. More than enough for two. My wife then had fettuccine Alfredo. All good. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.

I never advice that restaurant especially who wants to eat Pizza..We have eaten different pizzas in Al Teatro Goldoni last week. All of them was horrible. And prices are so high when we compare with the other restaurants near by in Venice. Think twice before you enter that place..!

The staff were friendly enough and the service pronto - but I had to send out a search party for the salami that was meant to be on the pizza About 8 tiny coin sized salami slices were provided on a generously sized pizza It was basically cheese and tomato base with mean sized protein Beware - its in a... We went here late at night after arrival and checking in. Food was not terrible but also not decent for the price. The worst was seeing all cooks were asian. This is not a racial thing but for a restaurant that boasts traditional Italian family cooking, I would expect Italian kitchen staff and cooks.

Overall this is an average place. What I didn't realise is they charge you 2 EUR Coperto or cover charge just for sitting down. Whilst it will be written down somewhere its not made that visible. The meal was very much average. Glass of presecco and red wine with a pizza 30 EUR. Up to you very much average, had... More

We were out looking to find an authentic Italian meal on Saturday night at around 8:30 pm that was reasonably priced, with a decent selection of food, that didn't have a long wait. I am thrilled we found this vet, and hope others find it as well, and talk it up some if they enjoy it as much as we... More

Give it 3.5 stars. Two visits, a pizza lunch one week and a cappuccino-and-croissant morning break on a rainy Saturday. Pizza fine and not out of line price; the morning break a bit expensive but croissant was a delightful surprise -- very light and filled with some sort of fruit -- perhaps apricot. No outdoor seating but lower level can... More

We went for dinner and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy when we got there. My husband ordered the chicken and chips & I ordered the pork and mushrooms with a salad. The chicken & chips came out 5 -10 minutes before the pork & mushrooms. Both were over cooked by about 3 hours. All dried out. Didn't try the pasta... More

Food was ok staff very good find it a bit expensive, there is plenty of choices in the desert menu, also there are a wide range of choices in the food main menu.

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
