Just half a block from the Grand Canal, this little restaurant has a wide selection of tapas at a reasonable price. We started with glasses of Verdiccio wine along with a panini of ham arugula (so good we had to get another one)! We got...More

Found this restaurant through a guidebook and after having been turned away from another place due to crazy Venetian rules about having to eat at lunchtime!! The staff were attentive but seemed a little prickly at first (but maybe that was more our paranoia after...More

The food was abundantly flavorful and the wine out wonderful waiter recommended paired exquisitely. The limoncello he brought to us at the end of the meal sent us off with a warm glow.

This restaurant could be in any Italian village. Local staff, local food, typical interior without any unnecessary decoration. Great location and friendly waiters.

Founded in 1936 in the heart of Venice, in the Calle Cavalli street, very close to the Rialto bridge and the Rossini cinema, our wine bar offers its customers a cosy and peaceful atmosphere, with a familiar touch given by the wooden decorations which are the same that characterized the ancient "bacari", the places where people stopped to have a "cicheto" (small portion of typical food) and an "ombra de vin" (glass of wine).
