Good chunky base pizza with a wide variety of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Was tasty. Good for an on the go snack or lunch.

Pizza here is really nice- a wider variety of toppings than most places and affordable at 3.50 a slice, it's cosy inside but in a nice area to walk around too, big queue at midday

Stumbled across this Little gem! And we couldn't walk past without grabbing a slice of it! At only €3.50 a slice you have to pay a visit so fresh amazing dough thin & thick and best pizza you'll ever have

This is by far the best pizza you can have in Venice. The prices are great (they only take cash) and the pizzas are delicious. I highly recommend it!

This was the best pizza we have ever had! 1 slice of pizza each cut in half filled us both. I cant remember the servers name but he was very friendly. No pizza will ever be the same after having one from Antico Forno. It's only small but that ads to the experience.

We visited here based upon the reviews we saw on trip advisor. It is a small shop with either take out or an eating counter. If you are looking for Neapolitan style pizza, this is not it. However, although the crust looks very bready it is so light and airy seems like you hardly had any bread. It is like... More

Went there at about 11:45 on a Monday. Everything around was open. They didn't have a sign up stating when they would be open again. Don't go out of your way for this place like we did.

Great pizza. Crust was think but really crispy when heated up again. Condiments such as garlic powder, chilli flakes and even olive oil are available. The hot wine is value for money too as I saw other joints selling it at more than double the price.

Amazing quality of food with fraction of restaurants' price. Recommend the peperoni and vegetarian with black olive pizza.

Air-conditioning is always on: fresh air to fight the hot Venetian summer days and a nice heat in winter.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
