Excellent food. This is one of the places we ate in Venice that did not seem completely overrun by tourists with menus in every language. Many restaurants seem like they are aware that their customers will be one time visitors passing through. Not the case...More

We visited all' Amarone Vineria for an early evening meal. We sat outside which is in a quiet sidestreet. The food was very good, particularly the shared meat and cheese plate which was very generous and also the smoked buffalo mozzarella with eggplant. The highlight...More

It is back in the side streets tucked away. Have a great wine list and be sure to get a bottle of it's name sake, Amarone, the best Italian wine in the world in our opinion. Price is reasonable and the food is fantastic. Best...More

We went to this restaurant for wine tasting. It is a bit off the main path. They have wonderful wines for tasting and feature the Amarone style wines. We enjoyed our evening and bought a couple of bottles to take with us.

I loved the food, I loved the atmosphere. Everything was delicious and it was a fresh break from the heat in the AC. The pizza and pasta was amazing. I would highly recommend this anyone pacing through!

We stopped in for Chichetti in the evening. Staff were friendly and they had nice outdoor seating that provided a break from the sun. Good selection of wines by the glass, although a little more expensive compared to other similar places. Crostini were good with...More

Best Sgroppino we found in Venice. Food excellent, staff both professional yet super easy going and friendly. Wine selection terrific. We stumbled upon this place while getting lost in Venice. So glad we did.

We dined here during July, 2017 and had a beautiful dinner. We shared the bruschetta, selection of cold meats, tortellini, mixed salad and tiramisu. Everything was lovely! Amazing selection of wines and great service. Would highly recommend.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
