We've been to this restaurant many times and will be back soon, always had a lovely meal good wine list of local wines. Good service, lovely outside tables in the square or in the garden at the back. We do need to call them on...More

The place was deserted around 6pm as people here eat a lot later it seems. Sat by the seafood showcase where the chef/cook grabbed stuff as the orders came in. Lucky for us he took the sepia squid ink, scallops, mussels and clams before a...More

The food is very low quality. For 1 try visitors who attracted by design of the place. Plastic tomatoes, no real seafood - all looks frozen, yesterday's bred, vine in glasses twice smaller standard. Expensive. Highly recommend to avoid such touristic places 8((

Walking around Venice, you can be overwhelmed by the number of places to eat, not knowing which one is worth trying. On our last day in Venice we were walking in an area that we have not previously explored and came upon this restaurant in...More

Unbelievable gnocci! Great service and quaint atmosphere. Very good value considering it is in Venice. The proscuitto and melon appetizer was HUGE and quite delicious.

The food was a bit salty and the waiter was so RUDE. He asked us to have 'fish special' for 2 ppl. We denied his offer and he changed his attitude, being very rude and never even looked at us after that. They also did...More

Very cozy looking place, with what appeared on the menu to be reasonable prices. The waiter all but bullied us into choosing the fresh fish, which was tasty but not extraordinary in any way, and which was only priced on the menu by weight (or...More

Wandered into the place, which is a little off the beaten path, for an early dinner. Random choice. Turned out to be a real hidden gem. The waitstaff very helpful and patient with our English. Good food, homey atmosphere.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San

I am looking for a good family restaurant with typical Italian food, including meat ( steak, pork, veal?), for an American family interested in authentic atmosphere ( teenage boy 16 and girl 22) . Not TOO expensive… any recommendations. Many on Trip ADvisor say Expensive, or only fish or only pasta or pizza. Area near San Barbara or Rialto or San Marco
