We were very disappointed here. It was recommended by a friend and it was on the recommended list from our hotel. The place is beautiful and romantic, but The service was screwed up and terrible. The food was just okay. There are Much much better places to eat in Verona. If you are wondering if it was a language problem,... More

This was our best experience so far in the six days we spent in Verona. In a city where all the food we enjoyed was fantastic! You can taste the beautiful sent of the lime tree's flower, characteristic of the entire city in June. Great vegetarian selection as well. The atmospher and the staff is perfect! Very quite and smoke... More

We have been to Verona 3 times as a family and apart from la veschia mescola we had been unimpressed with the food. This time I asked the Italian friend of a friend of mine for recommendations. So we tried this restaurant. We went with our 2 teenagers (tricky to please) one of whom is gluten free. I had my... More

This restauant was recommended as ' the best fish in Verona'. Well the food was good - but in an average sort of way. It is very old fashioned (some would say 'quaint' or 'eccentric') and seems to be locked in a time warp. We had some good food - the scallops were particularly good - but really nothing out... More

Visiting Verona, following a hotel suggestion, we found this very charming restaurant in a not through street. The entrance is very discrete and not easy to to seen if you are passing by the corner. But the interior is very charming, with the rustic wood celling covered with mirrors and thee walls covered with pictures of the diva Maria Callas.... More

Another recommendation from our hotel. Very well hidden but only a 5min walk from the Arena. Nice local restaurant with great food. Helps if you speak Italian though but don't let that put you off!

We were recommended this place and it was great. Lovely, quiet and good service. The seafood gnocchi was fantastic and actually had heaps of seafood. The wine was excellent and cheap. The scallops were not as amazing. The price was also very reasonable.

We were very disappointed by our meal here. The restaurant looked great but the food was nothing special. Much too expensive for what it was.

This restaurant was very near our accommodation so we went on Trip Advisor recommendation. So glad we did. We opted for a four course set menu at 36 euros which was fantastic. A nice bottle of Valpolicella plus coffee water and cover charge brought the bill for two to 102 euros. The food was excellent and the staff were really... More
