We had a lunch at this perfectly located restaurant in Verona downtown. Prices are fair and have to say that service was good too. About the quality of the food I believe that these tigelle are pretty far from traditional tigelle and gnocco fritto

Went on a busy Sunday night - fitted us in upstairs - opted for a starter and a main, which was far too much, good traditional food & very reasonable + bottle of red for 40€ for 2 of us. Good service and all ok - would recommend.

Finding a vegetarian restaurant in Italy can be a bit difficult. The concept is more understood in the north than elsewhere. We found this place by accident and it was a good accident. Situated on the banks of the river, it has an outdoor terrace as well as the normal dining room. Although not specifically vegetarian it offers a splendid... More

We had a light lunch for a very reasonable price right at the side of the river and the whole experience was delightful and memorable. This place specialises in Tigella, which is small, circular pitta bread and rectangular 'dumplings' more like puff pastry parcels. They come with eight savoury dips and four sweet dips, plus lots of cold meats, mostly... More

We had been recommended this restaurant by the accommodation we were staying at. The menu is very good with some wonderful traditional dishes. It was reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We arrived along the terrace with a stunning view of the river, alot of the tables here were full and we could see the amazing food being... More

A very nice place a bit off typical tourist itineraries in Verona, hence with a limited number of random tourists, but mostly frequented by local patrons who know. Do not expect a typical italian cuisine here, their main staple is the tigelle (small buns) and gnocco frito served with a plethora of cold cuts, sauces and spreads. If possible, look... More

Tigelle (small flat hard buns) and Gnochi Fritti (large airy pastry) with mixed meats, vegetarian plate or cheeses with a variety of sauces make for a fun evening to share and relax with friends and family. Friday and Saturday, and groups = reservations required.

One of the best settings in town, right on the river. From the outside this looked a small establishment, but when we went to pay the bill, we realised that it had lots of tables inside. Its speciality dish was very interesting - a series of dips to be eaten with tigella.
