I arrived at Osteria Porton Del Luzo last night by accident, a friendly local advised me to go here when the restaurant I was heading for was closed. I am glad she did because the food and the service was excellent. The waitress was a very knowledgeable local and she has given me a number of activities to do over... More

Nice neighborhood restaurant, won't find tourists. Really enjoyed all three courses. Adequate wine menu with wines from different parts of Italy. Simple ambiance. Very friendly host/waiter. Parking may be difficult. We walked in without reservations.

Stopped in here our first night in town as it was very convenient to the place we're staying at. It's a small place with just a few tables, friendly service, and a limited but high-quality menu. The day's menu was posted outside, but there was no printed menus available inside -- the waiter told us the day's choices in fairly... More

We ended in that restaurant after a long walk. Staff very friendly, they set up table outside for us and translated the menu. The food was great. We were expecting basic family cuisine and were happily surprised with nice and delicious dishes.

Traditional Food, nothing fancy but tasty and served with a smile. They have a standard menu - not so extensive - and a few fish dishes which we tried: the place is definitely worth a visit.

Alberto read his brother the chef's suggestions to us from a hand held note. Rabbit, venison and other delights. All dishes a pleasure as was the service given and the wine suggestions made. A real little gem hidden but worthwhile finding!

It's nice, traditional local food and good quality ingredients. The service is friendly and quick. Good wine and they have a good level of English.

We happened upon this restaurant just inside the old Roman gate as we walked back to town from visiting Villa Rotunda and Villa Valderama. Claudia was an attentive and friendly waitress who speaks good English. The handwritten menu (Italian only - this is a locals place) was not extensive but offered variety. The decor is simple, understated. Good wine list.... More

Description
Very typical Osteria Veneta, where you can find good food, good wine and hospitality. Maybe the oldest Osteria in Vicenza, opened in the 1886 and from that moment always at your service. The actual family-run business began in 2006 and since 2 years ago obtained the "historical management" title.
