We ordered the local pasta orechiette. Unfortunately it was too salty , therefore we could not eat it. We were offered another dish but we refused. Otherwise, it is a typical Italian restaurant.

I read this same story in reviews, sort of overlooked it, but then experienced it myself. After we were seated, order taken, antipasto ordered and eaten, and ready to order our second plate, the waiter tells us, a table of three, that we can only order two pastas. I found this incredible and said so. He explained when they are... More

This restaurant was recomended by the hotel where we stayed. Very good fresh cavatelli and Orecchiette pastas as well the panacota dessert. The wine was Tormaresca Puglia Neprica 2014, also very good.

4 of us had dinner here on our visit to Bari. We had variety of dishes. All nicely presented and hot. All were delicious. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Only fault was we had to remind them about our wine and ask for hand towels to clean our hands after the gorgeous meal. Despite this I would highly... More

We were the only English speaking ones besides one waiter and a group from England dining nearby. Great seafood on the Piazza behind Basilica San Nicola. No restaurants open before 7pm. Go about 8-9pm and enjoy the local experience. If you don't like the menu there are 10 others within 100 yards. All good.

Ate here twice during our stay and enjoyed both visits. The antipasto is a good selection and our mains were all excellent. Best to book at weekends although we got in on Saturday without.

Quick and smiling service, interesting people. Delicious food, thanks to the chef Dino. Placed in the old town market square.
