Always a pleasure to visit this place. You can't go wrong, if you notice it's full of locals who know about their food. Not too keen on their house wine though. Consistently good over the years, well done

Friendly staff, great food, good price! What else can you ask for? A sebadas! We were the only tourists in a sea of locals. Highly recommended

The real sardinian taste. How to make it simple and tasty? This is the way Cannas does it in Cagliari. Spaghetti con i ricci? One of the best I experienced in my life. Wonderful roasted sole and eels from Tirso, everything fresh simple and tasty. Perfect.

Look s like a lovely family Italian place and very local. However, if you don't speak the language or barely speak it they seem to not care so much about you. We were put in the corner and the food we got wasn't as amazing as some of the reviews say. Also there was a caterpillar in the salad which... More

Excellent Sardinian sea-food at affordable prices, in an old-school restaurant with typical Italian look ;). Definitely recommended (consider that locals go there for lunch). Grazie Cannas!

Although this restaurant is recoemmended in many guides, it keeps it authentic mood. And feeds well. Best value for money is a fixed menu. For 18 E you have a delicious pasta (con vongole, for instance), a fresh fishes from the market fried in oil, contorno and wine. Separate plates also in very comeptitive prices. But what matters the most... More

We went a Monday evening in the beginning of May, the place was full of locals so calling it a tourist trap seems incorrect. In fact, we really liked what was served - had a tasty spaghetti al vongole and a crunchy mountain of fritto misto. Basically, it's a cheap, simple and very Italian place, and we thought it was... Ci Pensa Cannas is a nice restaurant in the heart of the harbour district of Cagliari. In a large, but cosy, dining room the food is served usually in reasonable time (I've been there a couple of times); delays are possible due to popularity of the place. In order to secure a good table in the week-ends, you'd better reserve... More

This was the restaurant where we had dinner on our first night in Cagliari. We felt tired and we thought it would be a good idea to eat an earthy meal at a cheap and cheerful place. The restaurant also appeared in the 2 touristic guides we had. Finally, coming from a Mediterranean country myself, I love the concept of... More

We absolutely loved this place for lunch in Cagliari. It's so incredibly typically Italian. The service was hilariously abrupt (they have no interest in catering to the tourist market - they're quite rightly much more interested in their loyal local customers who have clearly all been going for years). The food was the best value and best quality of our... More
