I was working on a boat based out of Catania and every 3 weeks we were in port. Every three weeks we made daily pilgrimages to this great spot. We you stay in to eat, the portions are huge! Great flavours and the staff were very patient with our sometimes large group of non-Italian speakers. We frequently bought litres of... More

A friend told us to stop here to taste a good 'granita' ... Perfect advice! We had a fresh rest after lunch: one granita with lemon and other with pistachio + almond!!!

Great café. I lost 150 euros here but the kind waitress kept them for me when I returned three hours later. Wished I could have said thank you in person!

Got an ice cream from here. Decent flavour selection but I didn't get the feeling it was incredibly fresh. There were ice chunks in the banana ice cream but overall not too bad

And maybe the world.. We tried award winning pistachio in Palermo earlier this week, we tried a lot of pistachio icecream in northern Italy last year and in all of Europe in general but hands down this is the winner. Is like pure pistachio in this silky smooth consistency with a touch of salt. Apparently they use only pistachios from... More

A small ice cream in a glass goblet is the scope and is only €3 and it tastes wonderful. Try the Torrone and the melon. Toilettes very clean, definitely recommended.

All the ice creams are perfect for cooling down the burning days. The only problem they went crazy and give you extreme size of super delicious sweeties hehe :) OK one point you must realize can't eat more even if you want to...

You will find Comis at Bellini square. It's a nice place where you can enjoy your gelato accompanied with a brioche (a Sicilian must!) Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean.
