While we could have handled ordering in Italian the waiter spoke to us in English and we thought then he must understand our language. When our food came we realized that was a mistake. We got two raw fish platters we did not order but we decided to make the best of it and frankly they were very fresh and... More

We had to ring the doorbell to be allowed to enter the beautiful restaurant. Our waiters were great and helped us choose from a local based menu. The seafood was excellent as were the wines. Will definitely go back if in Palermo!

I had the muscle and clams to start they were amazing and season to perfection. The staff were attentive and friendly. Had a really good wine list. Well worth a visit for a authentic scilan twist on medertiaran classics. The trio chocolate dessert is a must!

A great way to end the holiday in this gem of a restaurant. Attentive and friendly service in a basement style building - remember to ring the door bell to get in. Well crafted dishes of high quality with a vast array of wine choices to match. Definitely more suited to foodies with an appreciation for local Sicilian meal options.... More

This was the most delicious dinner. ..from antipasto to dessert...the waiter bright me a glass of delicious red wine that almost made me weep....so smooth, so rich. ..yummy. Ok, the doorbell thing is super charming, you get escorted down the stairs, it's beautiful. The staff is attentive and diligent..HERE was that Sicilian hospitality I heard so much about. I had... You ring the bell and a waiter opens the street door and guides you down some stairs to an intimate cellar that has been rendered into a light and airy restaurant with maybe only 10 tables. The menu is varied and very well laid out for you make the critical decisions. The food was imaginative, well executed on the plate... More

We were very satisfied with our visit to Bellotero. The staff were very professional, and gave good wine recommendations. Well composed, and very nice tastes in all of our dishes. In my opinion, the portions were too small, despite ordering three courses I was still hungry when leaving the restaurant.

What a hidden gem of great, quality, reasonable priced Sicilian food. Last had dinner here 12 years ago and quality of food has not changed. HIGHLY recommended for dinner, you will not be disappointed. Great wine selection and tasty dishes.

Let me fist state that we did not eat particularly poorly here. We were warmly received by maitre Manuele and the ambiance is charming and relaxing. Perhaps, our expectations were on the high side given the recommendations we received but we were definitely not taken away by their revisitation of traditional Sicilian cuisine. Given that prices are on the high... More
