This chef knows his stuff. The ingredients are the best of the best, and the ladies waiting table are friendly, happy and helpful. The chef came out and discussed some dining options with us. My friend hates fish, so I was a bit concerned...but no...More

On a nice terrace overlooking the (back of) the Cathedral I had a good lunch here : friendly waitresses, cozze, carbonara with swordfish, water and ½ bottle of good wine : €35. Just off the main tourist route, worth looking for it..

We had a wonderful meal here night before last. Had sea urchin for starter (a first!) followed by grilled fish. All delicious. Desserts were stunning. We drank v good white wine from the slopes of Mt Etna. This was the best meal we had in...More

Just a short distance off the main tourist road with beautiful view of cathedral. Sergio the chef and Angela are warm and wonderful. Fabiana our server was a delight. The food was superb!

We have visited the restaurant a Saturday night. The restaurant was not very busy but at some point a group of about 10 people sat next to our table. They were very loud and rude, using a strong language. We were asked to move away...More

The restaurant is well located and comfortable, the food fresh and tasty, and the wait-staff attentive. However, if you choose one of their 'inclusive menu' items, make sure that you receive everything that is included on the menu, and finally 'double check' the bill, as...More

Excellent fish but the place is unmanaged, the wine list non-existent. Go there if you want to eat, forget it if you want to enjoy a pleasant evening.

Highly recommended, excellent fresh fish, pasta with fish ragù and delicious hand made "cassatelle al forno" for desert. Great selection of wines and if you eat outside you have a breathtaking view of the Cathedral!

Amazing food. Angela and Sergio are incredible chefs and great hosts! For sure we wl be back next time we visit Palermo. I'm still dreaming crostini con i ricci! Bravi ragazzi! Complimenti! Vi aspettiamo a New York in settembre!

My favorite part of the meal was the swordfish, but everything I ate was delicious. It seems like it's a family run restaurant, which I like very much. The food was fantastic (pasta with clams, pasta with sea urchin, stuffed calamari, and the swordfish), the...More

I feel like I completely remember the credit card stickers on the door, but I can't say with certainty because we paid with cash. Sorry

Description
Sergio and Angela Spano run the restaurant since 2004. Both come from families of restaurateurs who have passed on their passion and love for the traditional cuisine of Palermo, the same passion that today move in their work, seeking the scents and flavors of the past and selecting all the raw materials with care. Caponata, Sardinian warbler, daisies ca n'ciova, squid ink pasta with sea urchins, fresh fish of the Mediterranean, they explode like a vortex of fragrances giving you a blast from the past.
