High quality home made ice creams. Are so tasty, creamy and with a unique texture. Having tried different places, for us Belfiore is the best, there is no doubt. We recommend a high-quality pistachio one, which although it has a 50 cent supplement, is well worth it. You will never forget those ice creams. We also should point out the excellent customer service. Alessandro and the owner (sorry, we don't remember the name) were so kind and friendly.

Cosy shop for a quick stop to refresh. Prices are good and then you chose your ice cream tastes, staff let you try if it's not common sort. So it is not possible to get bad tasty ice cream.;:)

Excellent quality gelato with a good selection of flavours to suit all tastes. Very helpful and friendly staff. You can eat in, sit in the sun on the comfortable seating area outside or take away. Highly recommended.

Best ice cream in town. Every kind of ice cream tastes really original and is made out of well chooses ingredients. The friendly team supports you while choosing your sort of gelato. If you go to Ortigia you should stop there and relax near the bridge and look at the Harbour. Molto bene!

Best ice cream in Italy

The owner had made the I’ve cream in the morning. The flavors are all created by real ingredients. This rated as some of the best ice cream we have ever had. Highly recommend. Walk over the bridge and eat it looking out next to Archimedes.

Great discovery

We were looking for an ice cream parlor on the island of Ortigia to cool off a little and it was indicated on Google that it was the best ice cream parlor in Syracuse, so we stopped to try it. We each took 2 scoops in a small pot: hazelnut and ricotta for me and coffee and straciatella for my husband (€7 in total). There were lots of very special tastes and we were not disappointed with our choices. I recommend !

I love food of high quality and these ice creams are the best. I ate some other ice creams in Sicilia, but there was usually too much sugar for my taste. It was really delicate here, with great raw products that you can feel. I took each time lemon + pistachio + fragola, all three with products from Sicily! Exquisite! Please taste it at least once (if you can health-wise of course). and please try those with local products, a wonderful experience.

Amazing gelato and such a wonderful warm welcome!

Belfiore was recommended by our hotel concierge. This is the best gelato we have ever eaten. The lovely lady who greeted us so warmly made our experience even more wonderful. She plied us with tasters and we chose the pistachio, the dark chocolate and hazelnut flavours which were each sublime. I would recommend this gelaterie to all who visit Ortigia. We will definitely return before heading back to the UK.

Great little shop for gelato! The staff was awesome and super nice. The shop had a good amount of gelato flavors to pick from. Definitely recommend this place for a quick gelato.

I've been going to this ice cream shop for years now and I wouldn't change it for any other! The thing that distinguishes them is the quality which has always remained excellent over the years. The other day I tried a new flavor “lemon cake”, it really felt like eating cake in the form of ice cream. A friend of mine who is lactose intolerant was thrilled by the wide choice of lactose-free flavors and furthermore the very kind staff was able to recommend the right combinations. Go there if you want to taste the best ice cream of your life!

Superlative brioches with ice cream!!!

Once we arrived in Ortigia we decided to have lunch with croissants and ice cream! Attracted by the reviews and the proximity to where we parked we came to Belfiore! We were welcomed by a smiling and very nice girl who immediately invited us to taste the most particular and characteristic flavours! What can I say... we were spoiled for choice, all delicious!! Congratulations, we will definitely see you again! Highly recommended!

Worth a visit

We had freshly squeezed orange juice and amazing ice cream. We had a great experience in this gelateria with very kind staff and even vegan chocolate ice cream. It was definitely worth a visit. €3.50 for three BIG scoops of delicious icecream.

Delicious hand made fresh ice creams. Most probably ones of the best I have ever eaten. Not too sweet but full of flavor. A family business that makes you feel the best side of Sicilian traditions and the kindness of Italian people. Small and beautiful.
