It's been a while since I visited but on recommending it to a friend of mine who is planning to visit ortigia I thought I'd leave a review. The restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B owner so we said we'd give it a try. It was honestly the best meal I had on a month long trip around... More

Went with family. Had a super lunch. Everything was good but especially the fishy pastas. Huge portions, v tasty,... A bit slow service but worth the wait. Staff were friendly too. I'll be back for sure.

I have to suggest to everyone that pass by Syracuse (ortigia) to go and eat at Medusa trattoria. I am Sicilian and the mix of sicilian tradition and north African cuisine is magical. Kamel is generous and send you dishes that you have no ordered, beside yours. The sea salad.. is amazing. The pasta Fibus.. is spectacular.

This place was very much recommended by our B&B owner, our local friends, and other "locals". However, we were really not impressed by the dinner. Their famous cous cous was just all right, as well as the other dishes we tried. The staff was extremelly nice, helpful and funny. Although the service was rather unprofessional: they had aloud fights and... More

On a Saturday night it was busy by 930 when the tourist focused restaurants in the sea front were empty. Most of the evening arrivals were locals who obviously are here regularly - a good recommendation. It is up a side street so some , like us, stumbled across it - while others clearly chose to come here. The food... More

In spite of the smiles of the waitresses, this establishment is nor in the delicacy of the food, neither in presentation. i'm pretty sur that seafood is partly frozen foods (not fresh), plates soak regularly in the oil, but not only the good olive oil ;) Italian-style service....plates arrived when they arrived. Sometimes, you dont eat with your partner.... Well,... More

Recommendation to eat here from my local host. Far exceeding my expectations and was a great value. This place is a must try while in Siracusa! I will come back again during this stay.
