Small and casual place. Very nice and helpful hostess. Amazing fresh delicious food (a small cheese pie as a starter and a tuna steak as a main course). Good house wine. The prices are not very high. Great value. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff, very good food and good value for money! I had two suppers there this october just because the number one was so good. And number two was the same! First I had lamb and the next day I had spagetti with clams. And What a wine-collection. First a good red Merlot and the next day a fruity... More

Lovely restaurant placed in a narrow alley of Ortigia Island. The food was good and fresh. The host is very warm and friendly, and the service is very good. For wine lovers they have a wide selection of excellent wines. I highly recommend it!

We were wandering around Syracuse just before midnight looking for a place to eat, when we discovered Per Bacco in a narrow little passage !!!! This was the surprise of the day, with the welcoming staff, excellent service, and good value food!!! If you get a chance, visit it !!!

The only good thing about this restaurant is its location - down a secluded alley surrounded by authentic Sicilian buildings. The food is disgusting, overpriced and took forever to be served. We were the only customers (7 people), 2 of which got food poisoning from the uncooked 'fresh' fish. The steaks were like rocks and the tough lamb shank looked... More

If you are looking for fresh, local food with a modern twist, look no further. The lovely patio is situated at the end of Via Roma - so keep walking past all the normal restaurants and look for a patio, hidden away amongst the buildings to your right. The menu is smaller than some, but don't mistake this for meaning... More

The place is close to the main square in ORTIGIA. It seems that new owners are running it. The Menu is pretty sophisticated with some classical Sicilian dished revisited by the Chef. You can eat either inside (nothing special) or outside in a courtyard (better place). Food is very good quality and staff is friendly. We tasted different appetizers (so... More

After a week in Ortigia 2 years ago and another week just now, during which we've eaten out every single evening, this tops our list of many fabulous meals in this marvelous town. We assumed it was a fixture but we learnt last night that it's only been open under the current owners for 3 weeks and what a great... More

I have never left a bad review but feel compelled given the experience my family and I just had. It is such a shame as this is a lovely venue and the front of house and waiter were nice. We had a great Etna beer and nice wine (not the one we ordered but still delicious and reasonably priced). Kindly... More
