This is an informal bar/restaurant, with a small selection of local delicacies. Fresh food and very cheap.

Simple place run by a family who are pleased to see you. Very busy take out at lunch. Mainly buffet plus straightforward printed menu. Order at the counter and self bus at the end.

Dont get fooled by the place which doesnt look that nice but the food is great! I totally recommend. It is really good value for the price and a great alternative to all the posh restaurants around!

A very cozy, family-run trattoria! Makes you feel like having a dinner at your mamma's. Food is simple, but freshly made and tasty! Probably the cheapest good quality eat in Taormina.

Where ever you go on holiday in the world they say if you go in eat in a place where the locals eat then you're on to a winner La Cucina is exactly that, I would imagine a lot of people would look in and carry on walking. Old fashioned place with basic tables and chairs but very clean The... More

Home style Italian cooking with good earthy flavors and local specialties. Friendly and helpful service. I recommend to have a break and relax there while exploring Taormina.

Great gem in Taormina. Home cooking family run business. All dishes look great & people serving very helpful. This place is a no frills place where locals come & not restaurant style interiors but simple chairs & decor. Had roasted 1/2 chicken n chips & bresoale & caponata. All dishes sublime home cooking. Also, had stuffed sardine starter which was... More

Have just returned from a second visit to Taormina and sadly for us, only discovered this place on our penultimate night, our loss.... There are plenty of restaurants on the main strip in Taormina, however, so many are overpriced and with typical "tourist quality" food, nothing more. Certainly don't expect change from €50 for a typical light supper for two... More

We stumbled across the Cuccina de Riccobono on our first night and were so pleased with everything that we went back the next evening. This is simple but delicious home-cooking and the prices are extremely reasonable. Everything we ate on both nights was excellent [pizza, roasted rabbit, half a rotisserie chicken and pork shanks], the service was very friendly and... More

A blast from the past, it is a surprise such a place exists in such a touristy town. No thrills, no frills, just good honest cooking at 1980 prices! (and decor!).Just avoid their house white. The rabbit is a must.
