This place was recommend from the Hotel Relais Borgo San Peitro. We waited 1 hour to be served , the. They couldn't. supply 2 of the dishes. When we wants the bill we had to wait for 45 minutes and then they charged us 2 Euro each to sit outside, then charged us a different price to the menue.

On our annual visits to Cortona this inconspicuous restaurant has been a must go over the past 3 years. The food is true Tuscan and as a consequence, excellent. They have dual menu of dishes di terre and di mare, each a surprise in itself. Whether pasta or steak you cannot be much mistaken.Service is very helpful and informal: feel... More

We have visited a wide variety of restaurants during our 14 days stay. This restaurant was by far the best. Very friendly staff members and superb food. We have visited this restaurant 3 times and every time it was excellent. A must go!

We were on the road that leads to Lake Trasimeno from Arezzo, we had the bad idea to stop at this restaurant. All bad, we waited 30 minutes before we were taken the order and the restaurant was almost empty. The entrees were bad and so are the pasta dishes we ordered. Maybe the waiter had quarreled with the cook.... More

We ate an appetizer and a Fiorentinna steak in two people. The sauce of crostini toscani had a sour taste, ham and salami had a strange taste. The quality of the meat was very low and improper cooking. The service was very unprofessional. In these areas we have had the pleasure of eating in restaurants much better.

We were the first to arrive and the last to leave that night, the restaurant was warm and inviting and we took a place next to the grill. Speaking no italian ourselves and Tito (Grill Master)... If you want to avoid feeling like a tourist you should definitely visit this restaurant. Tito (i think) will make you feel very comfortably and of course the food will compensate you for the relatively big distance A.D. has from Cortona's centre.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving, and it became one of the highlights of our vacation. Annalisa, the owner and chef and her husband Marco made us feel as though we were part of their Tuscan family. The wine was great and the food was AMAZING!!!! We dined for 2 hours on our first visit. Then we went back... More
