What a find!! This is typical Tuscan food at its absolute finest! The cold meat and cheese platter is fresh and incredible and served up on paper plates which just makes the experience more authentic! The Tartufo risotto packed a massive punch and happy to say one of the best risottos I've had after 3 months in Italy. The ribolitta... More

A nice litle restaurant with simple and great food! The caprese is amazing! They serve it with a little pie of vegetables, a small but heavenly fennel salad. One of the best salads I ever had! But we also enjoyed the pasta, carpaccio and tartar. Super good flavors! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy,... More

Great menu, simple authentic rustic food of the local Tuscan style, prepared well and served beautifully. Lovely wine list and good value.

The food was, in a word, incredible. Lovely bruschetta as starters, and then truffle risotto and pesto with gnocchi. The flavours and the presentation were superb; we were so impressed that when the chef came out to check on us, we burst into spontaneous applause. Seemed to be a couple running the place - they were both very sweet and... More

When you give a 5 star rating, trip advisor asks if this was one of the best meals you've had? The answer tonight was Yes. We had seen reviews bemoaning the service but this place is the anthesis of somewhere like Macdonalds. As it was the service we had was superb: our waitress was excellent. The ambience is tremendous and... More

Slick service you won't get because the staff level is minimal and "relaxed". However your patience will be rewarded if you are seeking genuine local fare. We asked for house recommendations and were treated to hearty Southern Tuscan dishes and really excellent regional wines. There is a "sister" establishment across the way with far more formal presentation, wider range of... More

This neat little place showed such promise. We were promptly seated at the little table in the front anteroom and were then totally ignored for more than 20 minutes. Not an offer of water, no bread, nothing. It was a busy lunch time but nobody even looked at us. We gave up, and went elsewhere.

We went for a casual lunch in this smaller style restaurant that is full of character & flavours! The lasagne & a fresh pasta dish with sausage, ham & mushrooms were delicious & generous servings. The staff were friendly & welcoming, highly recommend for a more casual dining experience but be aware that this is a popular venue with a small capacity...
