This was our first stop, a quick lunch on our first day in Florence. I found this place when I was reading a cheap eats recommendations article. I must say, I pictured plastic chairs and plastic cutlery but how wrong was I, what a find!...More

This is as homecooked as you can get in Italy. The environment was cosy and welcoming, with quick service and a local feel. This restaurant is popular among locals, and there was a good mix of locals and tourists. The risotto and lasagne were light...More

Small, antic, looks nice. I had a pasta with sausage ragu, it could be tasty but sauce wasn't enough, most of the time I was eating colored pasta! I understand it's 8euro only, but it's a pity, either they increase the price or give me...More

The food is delicious! Tastes and looks great, like something your Italian mother would cook. And the price is unbelievably modest.

This was recommended in a Times guide to eating in Florence and quite right too.The service is quite abrupt and business like but that's ok with me--it's a very bustling sort of place full of locals and tight on space. The tiramisu was mentioned often...More

Good Italian pasta. Good prices. It’s located in the city center, it’s a small typical restaurant with a good atmosphere. We paid 7€ per each pasta. Very tasty. The staff was ok. They don’t accept credit card payments!

Great lunch spot tucked on a side street. Two sisters do all the cooking, great waitstaff, speak Italian. Not many tourists but the menu is translated. Beautiful simple dishes. Lots of local color.

Sorry bout the title, fellow travelers, but that is what I felt when I ordered the fettuccine with truffles. I come from an Italian family and have eaten pasta since I was in diapers, but I realize now that I had much to learn. I...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city

Unsure, but the restaurant keeps long hours. While I did wait 20 minutes for a table outside (inside there was no wait) the staff brought us wine t drink while we waited
