Recommended to this 'Steak House' by a local Italian traveler. Order the 1kg 'steak with bone', cream spinach, and a glass of red wine. Fast service. Wine was great! Steak was cooked to 'medium rare'. The big problem is the meat quality. 'Stringy', tough, and doesn't taste 'beefy' as I would expect. The second problem is a very 'dull' steak... More

The florentine steak is awesome. Get it with all the little sides - potatoes, beans, spinach and artichokes. We also had a pear and ricotta ravioli in light olive oil -oh soooo good! Lots of locals and some tourists. Definitely not a tourist trap. The food is outstanding! Make reservations and it's cash only! We were a party of 4... More

The food was unbelievable. The menu is all in italian and the waiters aren't the most attentive, but whoever took our order was super nice and helped us order. Very local and tasty.

Had a recommendation from our hotel owner, can't thank him enough for such a recommendation. We arrived a bit late and were squeezed into a table for 2 without prior reservation. Had the huge beef steak along with spinach and yummy artichoke and a bottle of house red wine. Scrumptious taste and authentic Italian atmosphere to remember.

Good food. Lots of tourists (including us). We arrived early (about 20.00) without a reservation, and just squeezed in with a promise to eat in just 60 minutes. Good value.

I’m not sure why this restaurant is named del Fagioli, after the white beans that are so common in Tuscany. It should be named del Bistecca, after the huge Florentine steaks it grills. Our group of five went to del Fagioli for the steak, and we weren’t disappointed. We had had a rather large lunch that day, so we started... More

Wowza this place is good. It came HIGHLY recommended from a friend who said ate here twice. It was our first night in Florence, and the perfect intro to Italy. Though no other meal lived up following, set the bar REAL high. The menu is all in Italian but the waiters help you navigate the menu. And I looked at... More

Get the steak. Review the cut. Eat the steak. Very simple. This meat is excellent and demands a serious wine. Do no expect house wine to cut it.

Proper traditional home cooked food. The waiter was very helpful explaining the menu to us as our Italian is not great. The food was excellent, highly recommend all the dishes, vegetarians are catered for and my husband's dish of a traditional Tuscan veg stew was amazing. Booking is essential. We arrived as soon as they opened and managed to get... More

We had dinner in Del Fagioli. Good Tuscan food, very friendly service and good company from he table beside us. They were from Florence and helped us with our choice.
