We booked a table and arrived a little over 20.00. The restaurant is stylish but cold. There is no atmosphere in this place and we were the only once in. We genuinely wanted to eat and enjoy a night out in a special place. It was a birthday so we felt very disappointed. There are 15 seats in this restaurant... More

The restaurant gave away our table without notifying me and explained that I failed to email them a few days before the reservation to reconfirm. This despite several emails and speaking on the phone when arranging/confirming the dinner and them having my contact information. The wait staff was completely unapologetic when we arrived for dinner and made no attempt to... More

The meal was outstanding as expected, with consistently confident cooking throughout. What really made the lasting impression was the presence of Chef Marco Stabile - he served us his very own dishes. He engaged with us and the other diners, and this added a sense of genuine hospitality. An unforgettable evening.

Ora d'Aria is a one star Michelin restaurant in the heart of Florence. Timing between dishes was perfectly timed. Good taste and innovative, risotto was super, worth visiting.

The restaurant is fantastic in many ways. The food is earthy, fresh, and powerful. The wine pairing matched our expectations. The ambiance is not romantic because the view of the cooking area is so visible, but the tables and cloths were perfect. The chef behind the siding glass door is reassuring. My wife and I ordered two different three course... More

I echo the mixed nature of the reviews here. The service was great and the restaurant elegant but the food fell a little short of what we were expecting. We had the tasting menu at 70 Euros - unless you wanted beef the next one up was 150 and too much food and money wise . I think they would... More

All your typical Tuscan ingrediants are evident in all the dishes but they way they are put together is like art only this art tastes sensual, delicate and savory. This is truly the most original restaurant I have been to in Florence and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they serve. I come here mostly for lunch... More

This was our third visit, and least impressive. The maccheroni with langoustines was nice but not that special. The suckling pig likewise - tasty but small portion and lacking a side dish. We were seated downstairs, which lacks the kitchen theatre of upstairs. The sommelier was rather arrogant and unhelpful. We will think twice before returning.

Overall I found Ora d'Aria to be stiffed and overrated. A plethora of Michelin star chefs in the kitchen and they could not come up with something of interest for a vegetarian. Going out of their way seemed such a great production which required an "emergency meeting" between the chefs and the waitress happening behind the glass doors of the... More

The food and service in this restaurant is really really great! Every waiter and waitress remember your name and all your choices. I have tried snail as the starter, the Maccheroni del Martelli with butter, sicilian shrimps and Caviar Calvisius as the first course and Crispy pig as the main course. Every ingrediants inside of the food match so well!... More

Decorated in shades of vanilla, this elegant restaurant is a welcome escape from the tourist trail, and Head Chef Marco Stabile has created a menu which features the best culinary traditions from the region. Ora d'Aria's impressive wine list features an excellent selection of Tuscan and French wines.
