After leaving Rome, we spent the day seeing the sights in Florence and stumbled upon da Ganino as I was scoping out a restaurant for my party of 8. I found the outdoor patio of the restaurant to have a section that had just come...More

Our starter, described as fried bread balls with prosciutto and cheese, was delicious. A fantastic appetizer. The prosciutto was not too salty and the best we've had in Florence. The cheese was also great, and went perfectly with the bread and meat. I had a...More

We had a delightful dinner in this small and friendly restaurant. Having tried three restaurants in the same street, it is easy to understand why Hosteria da Ganino is the most popular. I recommend starting with the zucchini tart with zucchini flowers and goats cheese....More

We had a reservation at 8 outdoor (around 8:40 we heard "no reservation no table"). We saw a table having pasta with wild boar, seemed nice, we ordered the same and it was really good. We saw some meat dishes seemed nice too, unfortunately we...More

Lilliana & Alessandro, a leather goods store recommended Da Ganino. It was a friend of theirs. After waking by it once (it was behind the plastic window tent for outdoor seating, we met Giuseppe, the owner. What followed was a phenomenal meal. My wife had...More

Typical Florence fare, which means savory steaks, excellent pasta al dente, and a variety of cheeses. Avoid if you're watching your cholesterol lol. The bistecca alla Florentine is crispy and perfectly cooked, an unforgettable dining experience. All the pasta we tried was excellent. And you...More

We wandered around the area searching for a place to eat. It was a little early for dinner as most places close down and open for dinner around 7pm. Nonetheless, I’m happy we found this place. It was good and very reasonably priced!

Our family (mom, dad, 4 kids ages 12-16, grandma) LOVED Granino! After over a week throughout Italy and many good meals, this was the best! We had everything from the pate to the meats and cheeses to pasta and the signature t-bone. All was fabulous...More

After some three hours of Madonnas and martyred saints at the Uffizi, we were pretty exhausted and famished and ended up here in mid-afternoon for a late lunch. We shared a plate of grilled vegetables (zucchini, peppers, eggplant, etc.). Everything was well cooked (done but...More

We ordered the lamb, and it was probably the worst lamb I ever had because it was tough. I had to spit out a few bites because I couldn't swallow it. We also ordered the gnocchi, and it was just okay. I wouldn't recommend it....More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
