A friend who used to live in Florence told us if he could only have one meal in Florence it would be here. We took his recommendation and were not disappointed. We ate outside at the Trattoria for lunch because we wanted to sit outside on a beautiful day and the the price is a little cheaper than the restaurant.... More

This is a small cozy restaurant with delicious food. Everything was good from the appetizer to the dessert. There were unique Italian food choices that were not the normal touristy dishes that you find at other less authentic places.

This neighborhood trattoria did not take reservations, but we were able to share a large table with another couple by arriving at 7:30 (which is early by Florentine standards). The atmosphere was a bit hectic, but we had a pleasant meal with good food and good company. Our meal was 50 Euros including wine which was in line with the... More

Cibreo's Trattoria is a quirky, sort of fun type of place. It is small. The feeling is familiar. The staff scurries around and helps make it an interesting place just to watch the commotion. One of the quirks is the opening times: Lunch 12:50 - 14:30. Effectively one seating and maybe you are lucky if you show up at 14:00... More

We had looked forward to dining at the famous Cibreo and our Italian host recco'd we go to the trattoria as it is the same chef/kitchen at more reasonable prices. I ordered the special of the day--rooster. It was the thigh and leg covered in a very acidic tomato sauce with a couple of overlooked potatoes underneath. My husband ordered... More

I wanted our day trip to include an extraordinary dining experience, and we certainly had that. A downpour before left us bedraggled, but Mr. Picchi (son) and staff welcomed us in, managing coats and bags as if we were already known. The food is exquisite and priced for its quality. A less expensive venue across the street is available for... More

We entered this trattoria by chance, and almost walked by. So glad we came in - the menu is clearly updated regularly, and is full of Tuscan traditional meals. The food was very tasty, good quality, and interesting. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, and very keen to explain the dishes. The prices were very reasonable too. We'll... More

We came across this restaurant when walking around trying to find somewhere we could both eat. We ended up being told what we were having to eat as the owner personalized our four course menu for us! We went along with it as the food turned out to be very good, but it did require a bit of a leap... More

I had no expectation about this place because me and my bf were so tired and was already late that we just wanted a place with food... I opted for this one because I didn't want the fancy one next to it (the sister restaurant) and this had a casual atmosphere (I liked the pictures on the wall and the... More

Went there following a recommendation. We tried to book but were told it is not possible. When we got there the passive maitre d' made us sit and wait outside till we gave up. This place have a restaurant and a cafe' next door so possibly allow themselves to treat customers badly. Florence has so many good places to eat,... More
