My partner and I ate here recently while on holiday. The staff were so friendly and helpful from booking through to ordering. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I can recommend the pear ravioli--just divine! Very reasonably priced too when compared yo other restaurants in this area.

We had a great dinner at this lovely quaint restaurant. The food and wine were delicious and the service was very friendly. It's tucked away in a corner and there were locals was well as tourists which is always a good sign. Would definitely go back.

After walking around the tourist traps it was great to stumble into this place. I just wanted to not feel like a tourist, we were staying at the four seasons which was great but after 4 days we just got tired of waiters who knew they would never see us again and acted like it We had the veal and... All the dishes we order are highly... More

Osteria Natalino, in Borgo Albizi, was recommended to us by our Receptionist at Hotel Calzaiuoli, and was surely one of the best Dinners we have had in our stay in Florence this pre-Easter. The place is quaint; we ate on the outer patio of the Osteria and were greeted by a very helpful waiter. We were placed at a table... More

At approximately .5 miles from the Ponte Vecchio bridge, this pleasant location will make you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of tourist clogged Florence. If it is a nice day/evening, ask to eat outside - otherwise, hope you get tucked in the back room for a lively but peaceful meal. The manageable yet thoughtful wine list will... More

Walking down the busy street where this restaurant is, we tried this place. My wife ordered the bistecca which was great, while I ordered a pasta. Both were great!!!

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
