We ducked into this place during a thunderstorm, and were delighted we did! The place had wonderful, affordable red table wine, a great little pecorino cheese antipasto, and a delicious truffle pasta...recommended by other patrons. Wish we'd had enough room left for the tiramisu. Thanks for the cream for our morning coffee Roberto; we'll never forget your wonderful little place!

Eating here for lunch and dinner on my watercolour course. The starters, pasta and desserts are simple, fresh and delicious! The house wine is also great.

So I'm still reeling from my great luck in finding this little trattoria! Service was friendly, very good English, but more importantly, the food was superb!! Thank goodness, because we had not made reservations, had just determined to stop at the first "trattoria" titled restaurant we found in our walking route (maybe not a great plan for Easter Weekend) Order... Near the Plaza d'Azeglio--not far from the tourist areas, but far enough to be an excellent neighborhood restaurant. In the first place, the house wine (vino rosso) is really good. The food is well prepared and fresh, with a few piatti di gioranto each day. On weekends, I recommend making a reservation. The street on which the restaurant is located,... More

I was looking for a good place to eat close to our hotel in Sante Croce on our first night in Florence. We were glad we chose this restaurant as there was plenty of choice and we went for the specials. The stufado was very good as was the lovely dessert all at a reasonable price. Put together with friendly... More

The service was really nice. The food was tasty. However the bruscatte was almost nothing for the requested price and they cost us higher price for the daily offer pasta then it was written in the blackboard. Sum up we could recommend much better choice in same street in Florance.

Recommended by our hosts this lovely little restaurant did not disappoint! It has friendly service and the owners (I think!) even helped us improve our Italian after we said the wrong word! Their food is amazing, we had the spinach and ricotta ravioli and the ragu. Both were excellent. The street it is on has an amazing vibe too, stop... More
