The first day we visited the restaurant it wasn't busy, we ordered buttermilk pancakes and choc chip pancakes. It was a proper american breakfast, food was excellent. The 2nd morning we went the restaurant was busier which obviously affected our food as the pancakes were...More

The Diner had changed hands a few years back and those running it did not really seem to know what they doing. I visited here a few days ago on the first day the original owners took back control. The difference was immediately visible from...More

For our last breakfast in Firenze I googled 'best breakfast in Florence' and The Diner came up as an option. The local is hidden on a small street but still quite central. When we arrived the place was empty, which should of made us question...More

Dear Alexa, All of our food is fresh and cooked to order, so I have no way of knowing what you mean by old. The prices for items, including additions, are written in the menu: if you don't agree with the price, don't order it....More

The four of us had breakfast here. Service was great. Food was delicious. Staff was super friendly. Would return and recommend.

If you're looking for American Style Diner food, and a classic American Style Diner (complete with kitschy decor), then this is the place for you. Lots of food and drink options. The portions are large and the prices fair!

My husband and I came here twice in a row after realizing this is the best American breakfast we've had in Italy. We have visited Florence many times and just recently discovered this gem. The English Breakfast was perfect, with bacon and sausage just like...More

We visited here twice over the weekend - once for breakfast and once for lunch. It was a great find. The breakfast was really good - alongside great service. It is a little pricey but we felt it was worth it. The lunch was also...More

My order didn't come with everything that was specified in the menu, the toilet had no toilet paper or soap, the Wi-Fi didn't work and the poached eggs were well over done.More

Jhol, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience. I'm not sure what the missing elements were but simply letting us know would have been a much easier fix. The wi-fi works great -- I'm using it right now to answer you. The bathrooms are...More

I've eaten here three times during two trips to Florence. It is a hidden gem (right behind the Bargello Museum). I know other reviewers have said this is like an American Diner--it is, but most customers are Italians--that is when you can tell it is...More

This place is one of the few that serve American style breakfasts. They would never be successful in the USA, but for Florence, it is fairly good. Prices are reasonable and there are variety of typical breakfast items. If you are tired of espresso and...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
