Let me start by saying that I don't rave about things easily, if at all. But I will make an exception for Il Procopio. It's difficult to choose the best ice cream in Florence where there are so many great gelaterias, but to me, Il Procopio is definitely the one to beat. Their gelatos are creamy, smooth and some varieties... More

Went every day for 4 days (and twice one day). The selection and quality of gelato was simply amazing and the price was the cheapest we saw. Best of all: over 3 days I was able to eat 7 different flavours which were gluten, dairy and egg free - all fabulous! A must find when in Florence. Open til midnight!

Rates highly on my holiday ice creams list. Even better it opens late so I got one as a late dessert. Different selection with some really chocolatey options... worth a visit.

Whenever i pass in this area i would always drop here for my fave pistacchio but also trying some different flavor. You'll never get wrong with a gelato. Must try ofcourse the all time fave pistacchio, follia del procopio, mango and i love the refreshing flavor of lemon and basil. superb!

Our family have sampled lots of the best rated places and this comes out on top. Proper traditional egg crema recipes and delicious intense flavours.

Very rich, creamy, delicious gelato - a little bit away from the very center of Florence, but still only a short walk really. They have a number of different delicious flavours, a good mix between rich sweet flavours and refreshing fruity options. I tried 3 different ones, all of which where very different but equally delicious. Clearly homemade with real... More

A bit of a low point, many people score this place high, but for us 3 the ice creams was I bit disappointing, with numoures ice cristals in them, and either to strong a taste, or no taste of what it was meant to be. Sorry, can only give 3 stars, worst ice in Italy so far

While all the classics are superb esp pistachio and Cremino it is their beautiful house creations that have us crossing Florence - patient staff and somewhere to sit make this a Florentine must for all gelato lovers

Really good selection of ice cream and sorbets to choose from. Try the lemon, absolutely delicious on such a hot day. One of the best gelato shops in Florence.

Found by accident on the way to Santa Croce. All the classic flavours plus some creations using nuts and dried fruits. Well worth a visit.
