Having chosen this for St. Valentine's Day, we were hoping for a memorable meal - and this is exactly what we experienced. The welcome was terrific, the ambiance just right, the choice of menu and imagination in the combinations was so well thought out. All of the courses we had were masterpieces in their own right, including the amuse-bouche brought... More

We booked a table at Cuculia mainly because it was very close to our hotel and discovered a real gem. It is a small restaurant with walls covered with books serving great food. We started with a wonderful amuse-bouche from the chef. For the main course I had a surprising melanzane formaggio that looked and tasted heavenly.

If you're in Florence and you're looking for something different from traditional Tuscan cooking, this is a very good option. The service is very good, professional and extremely friendly. The ambiance is nice and cosy, it can also well apply to a romantic dinner or an anniversary celebration. With my family we got many different dishes and generally they were... More

Different style from the usual restaurants in Florence but amazing nonetheless. Really great food that was one of our best meals of the whole trip. Friendly service -- do not miss this place even if it means crossing the river

Went here for dinner. They serve interesting dishes with wonderful flavours. Service is informal and top notch. They assisted with dinner choices, wine marching, and Italian language lessons. Molto bene! Short walk from ponte vechio. Easy to find. Cosy atmosphere. Not expensive. Locals eat here. This is a really good find. Recommend u try it. 👌👍😃

Every dish was a perfect balance of flavours, and a contemporary take on Italian classics. Presentation was great, service was good, and venue is cosy. Would definitely recommend it, and will definitely return.

This was a surprising diner. The food was superb, very tasty and very well balanced. Do not focus on the name of the dishes, just try it and you will be rewarded. The service was also very nice, helpfull and they speak english for those who do not speak Italian. Cheers, have a good appetite!

After spending meals waiting in line and being rushed to eat sandwiches, I missed eating with cutlery. I did some research and the reviews were great. When I arrived in the restaurant, I was completely impressed! Pros: - Astounding service! It was like someone was welcoming me into their home, and with hotel quality cuisine! - Background music fit the... More

We ate their tonight, and I was compelled to write a review immediately. Firstly, Cuculia was really quaint and cozy. It is located away from the touristy areas and while we were there, it was filled with locals on dates, families, and friends. The wait staff was super friendly, and understood english (they also had an english version of their... More
