This restaurant is a great tip for tourists who visit the centre of Florence and want to have a good meal at a decent price. You can arrive there by going on Via dei Calzaiuoli and then take Via dei Lamberti (on the left side of the church Orsanmichele). Practically a few steps away from the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio.... Friendly place, the food is OK for a quick snack and drink off the main Piazza Della Signoria after visiting the Uffizzi Gallery.

Visited with a family of 5 adults and 5 teenaged boys. Boys loved the cheese pizza with fries. Tried three pasta dishes were all good. Price was moderate. Was better than I expected.

For a restaurant that's a stone's throw from the main tourist thoroughfare, this place was fantastic value. They had a good variety in offer (with several vegan options, as well as vegetarian). The food tasted great, and as a solo traveller, it was just out of the way enough to feel comfortable eating alone, but still a lovely outdoor eating... More

...meals seemed not very fresh. Nothing special. I think I would of honestly preferred a microwaveable lasagna from lidls than this. Everyone surrounding us did not pull a smile and even heard one woman spit out her coffee and say it was disgusting. The waitress gave off a miserable aroma whilst in her nikey trainers and clearly showed the complete... More

The prices are totally affordable. They give you a good amount of food for your money. It is a self-service restaurant.

We stopped here after the Vasari Corridor tour for drinks. I can not speak to the food as we did not have any (except for the snacks that came with our drinks). The service was great, although we discovered in this area of Italy, you have to explain how to make a vodka martini - apparently having Martini and Rossi's... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
