This part of Florence struck me as being a somewhat sleepy area which I rather enjoyed. The restaurant had only a few people when we ate there, but everyone was smiling and laughing and having a good time. The food, wine and dessert were all wonderful. The staff was very sweet. My daughter's vegetarian request for pasta and vegetables was... More

We ate here on a Tuesday night & the restaurant was completely full of local families & couples enjoying dinner. Really good food & friendly service, couldn't have been happier.

So its a cute restaurant... lovely decor... though nobody sits inside... everyone sits in the large terrace on the gravel. The food... is just amazing. Some of the best seafood i have ever had. My mussles were soooo delicious! And you have to try the prawns and artichoke starter! AMAZING! just thinking about it makes me hungry! The portion sizes... More

Off the beaten track but well worth it !! Excellent welcome service and the food was a delight particularly as the locals eat there with an array of dishes going past for other tables that just make you hungry for more ...Reasonable prices with lobster and pasta (homemade!) for 15 euro main and starter of smoked sword fish simply esquisite... We went with our Italian hosts who highly recommended this restaurant so we new it would be good and we were not let down. We had sea bass baked in a salt crust which was absolute perfection! The venue was delightful and had a good atmosphere, and the menu was mainly fish, yet diverse and interesting.

this place is a hidden treasure!!! a little far from center but reachable by taxi. it is by far the best staff and seafood found in Florence. I personally love the Carpaccio of tuna and the shrimp in a light curry sauce with apples. but as we have tried most dishes I haven't been disappointed by any. in the good... More

We stayed outside Florence 2 nights to explore the area before moving into the city. Our concierge at the nearby Hotel Mulino recommended this local family run restaurant which was within walking distance of the hotel. What a delightful surprise! This turned out to be our best dinner in Florence. Their specialty is shellfish and we shared a mixed seafood... More

As we stepped in and tried to get a table without reservation, the service people were quite unwilling to give us a free space (a lot of tables were free) and did as the restaurant is booked out. Than we got a table and menu. After few minutes we got water and were asked about our order wishes - everything... More

Steered by the reviews here and a recommendation from a local bar owner we arrived expecting a sensational meal. One of us had lobster cooked with pasta which was mushy in texture as if it had been thawed in a microwave and lacked any flavour associated with lobster. I had seen photographs here dated March 2014 of cold langoustine served... More
