We found this the first day, not far from our apartment, and returned several times. Friendly service and management, but sometimes distracted. The wood oven calzones are excellent, try these as an alternative to pizza. We had salads, salmon, and other dishes which were very...More

Went here for dinner on our last night in Florence and heard some students talking about a family style menu so we asked our waiter about it. It's apparently all around Florence but the restaurants don't advertise it! It included: unlimited wine and water, bread,...More

The food here was excellent, as was the service. We especially enjoyed the risotto with apples and gorgonzola--yum! Nice wines, too. Decent prices. I will definitely return.

Worth a visit even if you just come here for the antipasti started with the ham, soft cheese and pasta dough balls -they’re sweet, salty and delicious! The creamed broccoli gnocchi was also amazing.

Il Teatro is the perfect italian dinner spot in Florence for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff of Fabio, Turi, and Rambo are always great! I recommend it 10 times out of 10!

Il Teatro is not only great at group dinners but the food is fantastic for family style portions. Ask for Fabio if you go! He will show you an amazing Florentine dinner! I recommend the burrata, meatballs, steak and tiramisu! Enjoy!

I eat at il teatro at least once a week! The service is incredible and the food is even better. If you ever go, ask for Fabio! He is the best and will make sure your experience is the best possible.

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the
Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night.
Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and
artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the
Central National Library. As a hub for young people,
the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a
continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated
by songs and dances.
