We visited Caffe Florian on a cold afternoon and loved the warm and cosy surroundings. The delicious coffee and very very chocolatie hot chocolate were also great. This was the most elegant coffee shop we visited in Florence. I would highly recommend it.

This gorgeous location on Via del Parione is a replica of the original Florian in Piazza San Marco in Venice. A lovely find dining restaurant perfect if you love fish, bellini's and other Venetian delicacies. Particularly good on Sundays for Brunch

There is always the moment in Italy when pizza and pasta will no longer do it - this is the time for a dinner at Caffe Florian (although you will get excellent pasta as well there). Enjoy a creative cuisine and very high quality (managed...More

We ate at the restaurant connected to the bar/cafe. The food was exquisitely prepared, melt in your mouth and tantalizing to the taste buds. The device was professional and personal. Highly recommended for tourists.

This cafe was a huge disappointment. I've been to cafe Florian in Venice, absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go to the Florence branch. The service in Florian Florence was appalling. We were served by this lady who seemed friendly but was extremely slow...More

In a city more famed for ancient style than modern..maybe you'll find this newish outpost of the famed Venetian Caffe by the same name, refreshing? I did! I dropped in here on a passing "that looks nice " whim & stayed for a very professionally...More

The original comes from Venice. However- this one in Florence- outshines it. cheaper, friendlier and more homey :)

Description
The close artistic and cultural affinity between Venice and Florence has brought an enchanting piece of the Venetian elegance in the amazing Tuscan capital. The historical Caffe Florian, opened in 1720 in St. Mark's Square in Venice, now finds its natural space in Florence, with the opening of this new and prestigious location where the exclusive coffeehouse and the fine dining meet the Contemporary Art. Part of the private Florian Art Collection is now here on show in a permanent exhibition, Aron Demetz, Mimmo Rotella, Fabrizio Plessi, Gaetano Pesce, Irene Andessner, Bruno Ceccobelli, Marco Nereo Rotelli, Paolo W. Tamburella, Luca Buvoli, Massimo Nordio, Arcangelo and Fausto Gilberti are some of the many both Italian and international artists who, over the years, reated exclusive pieces of art expressly for the Venetian Caffe Florian. And now their works are in Florence, to pay their tribute to the three centuries' tradition of style, elegance and refinement, that made the Florian name a renowned myth all over the world.
