I had a three-course meal here and everything was fantastic, all of the desserts are homemade which is something I appreciate. It was difficult for me to find it, other than that a fantastic experience.

We get there because everywhere else was full. The grilled meat was really good, pizzas are cheap but quite tasty, desserts are fine. A lot of locals were there, service was kind... If you don't search for extravagance or famous, this will fit perfectly. Good food at fair prices.

Jimmy should be better known than it is. We weren't expecting that much given the relatively unimpressive reviews, but we were enticed to give them a shot thanks to the discount from thefork/tripadvisor. This isn't a fancy restaurant, but the menu is quite diverse and it's "one stop shopping" for all the foods that make eating in Italy great. To... More

We had a nice evening at this place that was close to our hotel. As it was a hot summer night, I wanted to eat something cold, so they offered the traditional tomato soup served cold instead of hot. It was really nice.

We had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant several times over the course of our stay in Florence. It is close to the rail station but a bit of a walk from the duomo where much of the action is going on. The food is not terribly fancy, but they do it extremely well for a price point that... More

Although the food was good, the inattentive service (we were ignored) overshadowed all else. There were only two tables of people and the three gentlemen working in the restaurant simply ignored us. We had a tiramisu which was probably purchased somewhere else and flies drove us crazy while we ate. We were on vacation and staying around the corner. We... More

Moments ago we finished a plate if carbonara and a fungi pizza and a carafe of wine. The clearly homemade food here hit the spot. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! Fine your way to this little trattoria. This was our first meal in Florence and we are in town for 7 days. We will enjoy... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
