We stubbled upon this restaurant while adventuring in a non touristy area of Florence. We didn't have a reservation, but I would recommend booking one because we got there early (right at 7:00) and by the time we left the place was full. It's fairly small, intimate and quiet. The food was incredible. You can order a la carte or... More

I visited this place with my girlfriend for dinner. It takes few minutes from Palazzo Pitti to get here and it seems to get in another palace...The restaurant is beautiful! The guys working here welcoming and service oriented. Unfortunately we had an aperitivo before the dinner so we managed to order just the catch of the day and a chicken.... More

My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Il Santo Graal. We had the prix-fixe menu which was only 50E for six courses. The beef tartare was very good and the risotto and pea-flour gnudi were excellent. The presentation for all dishes was beautiful and the service was very attentive. Our wine was also well-priced and the wine menu offered... More

Beautiful location, great wine selection, modern elegant ambience. The food is not only delicious which is almost a given considering where you are, but very well presented with attention to the details and careful selection of the ingredients. MUST try if you are in Florence.

This restaurant used to be fantastic. It had very attentive service, and a wonderful, creative menu lead by Simone Cipriani. The new menu at first glance seems similar to the style of the Cipriani, but the new chef is unable to execute. The small offers of flavors to open the meal seemed like they would be good, but all left... More

Dear Madam, We don't accept any kind of provocation about our previous Chef... Simone has been here for 4 years, 4 years of lovely collaboration, hard days and happy times. Gabriele Andreoni is here NOW. We find really inappropriate to compare Chefs with totally different concepts about food. And do this after one year that Cipriani left this place is... More

I really hate giving poor reviews like this because I can see that the effort was there, but this meal made me very sad. Unfortunately, this was our worst meal in 10 days in Italy. We ate at cheap simple trattorias, and then at high end 3 Michelin star Enoteca Pinchiorri - so we had a range of experiences. The... More

A beautiful red brick interior with modern lighting and spacious tables. The food was "deconstructed" which was a bit of a disappointment. The whole place was rather lacking. And expensive!

We were looking for a unique dining experience in Firenze and found Santo Graal by some recommendations. It was refreshing to be in a non-traditional italian restaurant. The menu was creative and interesting. Service was very good. The restaurant has a great design however it feels very solemn and overly serious. Highlight was the scallop risotto and veal. The fish... More

We had the tasting menu and have to say we've been to much better Michelin recommended restaurants. The broth for the first dish was very bitter and the fish stock did not work well. Other dishes seemed to be a menagerie of strange tastes. It doesn't get one star because the scallop risotto was tasty. When in Florence I'd recommend... More

Dear Sir. "When in Florence I'd recommend going to an authentic Italian place instead." cit. If you follow Michelin suggestion please don't use only the restaurant locator on the app, buy the guide book and read the comment. You suggest to "going to an Authentic italian place", did you really read the Michelin guide? Best Regards More

There's no question that they take their food very seriously at Santo Graal. The atmosphere is rather solemn and presentation is meticulous. It's just that this set up an expectation which the food itself didn't meet - at least the night we were there. We had four dishes (we didn't stay for dessert). The prawns 'bloody Mary' were tasty in... More
