The food was pretty good, meaning: excellent pasta and seafood in crust, mediocre apetizers and pizza (very thin and wet crust with not so flavourful toppings), great bistecca fiorentina (and huge, more suitable for 3 people than two), of the deserts, the chocolate cake (sort of lava cake) and cheesecake were good, tiramisu pretty bland, as well as the panna... We were looking for a restaurant to enjoy a last meal in Florence before returning home.We had walked over the Ponte Vecchio bridge and were walking down one of the adjacent streets when we came across a small Piazza and this restaurant. It looked inviting and the menu looked reasonable compared with some.We only wanted a couple of pizza's and the... Visiting the Ponte Veccio carried on walking to the next square. This place was calling out to us to come in. The friendly staff were good fun and looked after us well. Good selection of menu choices. Not too expensive for central Florence. Free WiFi for checking maps and entrance fees etc.

We had lunch here and the quality of the food was good, free wifi and the service was fast but we paid 2€/person for the service. we were 4 people so that means 8€ extra.

We were searching for some good pasta and stumbled across this nice place: Very friendly staff with good prices and very good pasta. :) They even agreed to switch our pasta from penne to spaghetti and viceversa.

We had lunch here twice and were really satisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. The restaurant is small but also offers outside seating. The menu is typical italian food and the prices are fair compared to other restaurants in the heart of Firenze. Two pasta dishes with water and coffee costs around 25 euros -... More

Ordered a pizza for my kid - they didn't have small size so she ended up with a huge pizza, and it was the taste of cardboard. Ordered myself a mushroom soup, they brought an onion soup, changed the onion soup to mushroom, just to discover it's disgusting (actually inedible). They said they'd already changed it once (yeah, for their... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
