Absolute Tourist Trap. 6.50 Euro for a post mix coke in a glass. Unbelievable, they should be shut down. A coke in a can cost 2 Euro in most places, a mix of coke is even more diluted. This place should be shut down stealing from Tourists. When I asked why so much, the reply is "this is the price... More

This place is a total rip-off. I wanted a quick gelato before going to the Uffizzi Gallery. I walked inside. It wasn't too crowded. The blonde waitress asked me if she could help me. I wanted two flavors but didn't want a cone. Also, I was a little reluctant because I didn't see any prices prominently displayed which is a... More

Poor over-priced food, served by couldn't-care-less counter staff, trading on a prime position on the piazza, ripping-off poor unassuming tourists...like us. Avoid!!

Please do not waste your time visiting this gelateria, especially if you see a young blonde woman (who is very aloof despite working with the public) who seems as if she doesn't like her job. She probably thinks that she should be on a runway instead of scooping up gelato. But most of all, if there is a man there... More

This place was absolutely horrible. The display case of food looks good and that is how they get you in there. There are no prices displayed on anything except in the case. A can of Fanta and a can of Coke cost $8.50 each ($17 euros!!!! Which is more than the pasta), but they do put it in a wine... More

Terrible gelato. Charged twice what they quoted. Since on gelato side did not display prices it is very easy them to screw you. Never again.

Complete rip off bordering on theft! Despite being really experienced travellers and always taking advantage of the benefits of the views posted on Tripadvisor which has always proved a great guide, this time we were caught out by the worst type of tourist rip off! We had walked for hours and came across this unassuming cafe style brasserie. The food... More

We were tired, hot and hungry, the presentation of the food looked good thru the glass cases and the prices seemed OK. Once we ordered we found out all the pasta ends up being heated up in some sort of oven or microwave. Being in Tuscany one would expect fresh bread but it was served in plastic cellophane. The food... More

Having travelled to 47 different countries I have never visited such a crap restaurant as this one- 10 euros for 2 small grim coffees -I felt that I'd been raped and pillaged by the owner. I would in future prefer to die from dehydration than hand over my money to this pathetic effort of a cafe- it's utter crap in... More

It is expensive. It is fast food. It is located on the piazza of "Little David" and what a great place to sip and watch. Prices aren't posted, SO ASK. Their pasta is out on large platters, made ahead of time. (Remember fast?) therefore they have to nuke it before they serve it. If you want it fresh from the... More
