Stopped for a much needed rest of weary legs - very good service , great coffee , good location and reasonably priced. In need of a break and in the area then go sit and rest those tired bones ! Recommended

I walked into this gelataria Organic and Healthy in front of the Pitti palace. However the bill says Caffe Della galleria so I assume it was part of the same restaurant next door. I had a cheesecake cone and it was okay. There were some fruit and cake pieces in it. I had a wonderful one in Lucca and it... More

Just located on the plazza, burger are good, tartare is also OK. Served with crispy chips instead of french fries, so its still a light meal if you are hungry. Service charge is 2 euros.

The lattes were good, however the panino wasn't anything to write home about. The rest was welcome as was the drink.

This place is awful!!! The inside is dull and gloomy!! The food is bland and over priced!! I ordered a hot chocolate that was so thick I couldn't drink it and a panini that was cold and looked as though it had been made by a child! The bread was hard and too salty!! Don't go here ever!!

We are not budget travelers, so the prices were not unexpected. The coffee was just plain average, no better, no worse. The location is convenient to the Pitti Palace and that attracts large numbers of tourists. You could probably do better by going two blocks further.

just in front of Pitti Palace, in Pitti Square, next to Pitti Mosaici: it is a bar / cafè with a small inside space and outside tables. they also prepare cocktails, meals, hot meals, pizza and sandwich, etc. The staff is very nice and careful. Inside they use to expose works of various artists (paintings, sculptures, photography, etc.), it is... More

Cappuccino cost 1.20 eu Doppio costs 2.00 eu I asked for a two shot cappuccino and was charged 5 euro!!!! I asked how that made sense? That's more than the cost of two cappuccinos and a doppio! I don't know about you but I hate feeling scammed and ripped off. That is more than the airport and there are lots... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
