Traveling with wife and 20 year old daughter who is a vegetarian. Went because of good reviews on Trip Advisor and proximity to our Hotel after a long day of touring and shopping. Followed the recommendation of a previous reviewer and had the Tuscany stew.. it was wonderful! The owner waited on us and was very nice and attentive without... More

We found Trattoria Camillo Cavour our first evening in Florence and after traveling all day. We were tired, hungry and wanted something close to our hotel down the street. We were seated immediately. Our waiter recommended a great bottle of wine that we enjoyed over our salads and pastas. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We... More

We visited this family restaurant after a busy morning sightseeing. Great food and very friendly service - not rushed, made feel very welcome. Eggplant parmigiana was delicious & waiter suggested a new dessert they may add to the menu - melt in your mouth! Definitely recommend.

Of the many restaurants in Florence serving pasta, main courses and pizza, this was the best place we tried for good food at reasonable value. Service was very friendly. Location is just far enough north of the Duomo to be less crowded.

This restaurant was just couple of buildings away from our hotel and based upon Trip Advisor reviews we decided to give it a shot. And we did not regret doing so! Camillo Cavour is a small restaurant but one feels like home here. Menu is both in english and italian, so no need to ask. We opted for aperitif and... More

Luckily, this small, family owned restaurant was two doors from our hotel. Menu with pictures outside enticed us to try it. Wonderful pasta dishes, good wine and super-friendly staff meant we would go back another day. Tried chicken dishes the second visit and same wonderful meal. Highly recommended this restaurant to our hotel receptionist for other guests. Restaurants around Duomo... More

Camillo is an old favorite, although pricey. The tagliatelle ( although slightly over cooked) with porcini was delicious as was the carciofi fritti.

What a wonderful find on a rainy night in Florence. Good food and wine and exceptional service in a very cosy homely setting.

We stayed at a hotel on the same street so we tried this restaurant on the first day of our Florence trip. Food is good with exceptional service! Better than another restaurant on the same street which is more famous!
